FOX Business Network (FBN) will launch the fourth season of hit primetime reality series Strange Inheritance on Monday, January 15th at 9PM/ET announced Brian Jones, president of the network. Hosted by Jamie Colby, the series will debut with a special two-day premiere featuring back-to-back episodes on both Monday and Tuesday, January 16th.
In making the announcement, Jones said, “As our top-rated original primetime program, we are thrilled to have Strange Inheritance back for its fourth season. With many of the episodes being viewer-submitted, it is clear that Jamie has the innate ability to connect with our viewers and share these amazing stories of inheritance.”
Colby added, “Throughout the years, I have crisscrossed the country numerous times and met some truly incredible people with heartwarming stories of history and inheritance. It has been an honor and a privilege to share their experiences with our viewers who not only have become our family, but helped put together some of the awe-inspiring stories we’ll showcase this season. I am beyond excited for the debut this January.”
The series, which chronicles the stories of unique inheritances from people and places all across the country, has been one of the highest-rated primetime programs in network history since it launched in 2015. Over the past few years, Colby has explored the inheritance of a never-worn pair of Levi’s blue jeans dating back to the 1800s, a dinosaur park, Abraham Lincoln’s rail splitter, George Washington’s wallet, Jane Austin’s ring, a ghost town gold mine, and a multi-million dollar Colorado bug museum. The fourth season will feature 26 half-hour episodes, more than a third of which were viewer submission stories, with two new episodes premiering every Monday at 9PM/ET.
Strange Inheritance is produced by Towers Productions, which is known for such programs as The History Channel’s Gangland, National Geographic’s Inside 9/11, The Weather Channel’s Storm Stories and A&E’s American Justice.
