FOX Business Network (FBN) has teamed up with cable and satellite providers nationwide to make the upcoming Republican presidential debates available to all their subscribers, announced Tim Carry, executive vice president of distribution for FBN and FOX News Channel (FNC).
On Tuesday, November 10th, DIRECTV, Suddenlink, Mediacom, Frontier, Wide Open West, and Cable One, along with a significant number of National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) member companies, will unbundle FBN, making the channel available to their full subscriber base ahead of the debates.
In making the announcement, Carry said, “We are grateful that our distribution partners, like us at FOX Business Network, recognize the importance of providing the debate to as many subscribers as possible. The debate falls at a pivotal time in the election cycle and through the help and support of these partners, many more of their customers will have access to it on November 10th.”
Presented by FBN in conjunction with The Wall Street Journal, the debates will focus on jobs, taxes and the general health of the economy, as well as domestic and international policy issues. Beginning at 6PM/ET and 9PM/ET, Tuesday’s debates will air live from the Milwaukee Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on FBN.
